Description
Acer palmatum Hime-Shojo is a gorgeous dwarf variety of Japanese Maple with a rounded mound of foliage that changes colour from Spring through to Autumn. The deciduous shrub morphs from bright red with a touch of pink in Spring through purple-red and settles on a fiery orange-red hue before the leaves fall for Winter. Small red insignificant flowers often appear on mature plants in Spring and are followed by winged seed pods.
