Description
Stunning hardy perennial from North China is grown for its towering spires of yellow, daisy-like flowers held above dramatic dark purple-green stems. The leaves are also striking, large and deeply cut, with a slightly feathery appearance, turning purple from mid-August. This deciduous perennial will spread to cover a large area and provides excellent groundcover for sunny, permanently moist areas of the garden.
